LYNN HAVEN — Matt Johnson shot a final round 68 on Sunday to win the 92nd Sherman Invitational at Panama Country Club.


It was the second straight 68 after an opening round 74 for the Dothan, Ala., native, who finished 6-under-par for the tournament.


Johnson won by six strokes over Lynn Haven’s Dalton Humphrey, who finished with back-to-back 71s over the weekend to end at even par for the tournament.


Joshua Monk of Lynn Haven was up next at 7-over, followed by Brad Woods of Lynn Haven at 8-over, Bob Mathers of Niceville and Tim Carpenter of Panama City at 9-over, and Mike Riley of Panama City at 10-over.


Christian McCarter of Lynn Haven was the champion of Division B with a three-day score of 226, while Jay Hancock of Lynn Haven won Division C at 240, and Mike Walsingham of Panama City Beach won Division D at 252.


Kit Hatcher of Panama City Beach won the Open Division A with a score of 229 thanks to a final round 77, with Jimmy Nolan of Lynn Haven winning Open Division B at 251.


Johnny Kirchman of Panama City finished first in Open Division C with a score of 267.
