HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS — Bay High’s Taylor Moody capped off her high school career by taking seventh in the Florida High School Golf State Championships.


The second and final round of the tournament took place Wednesday, with Moody following a first round 76 with a second round 78 to finish 10-over-par for the two-day tournament.


That put her seven strokes off individual winner Ainsley Mann of Bishop Moore Catholic, who won by three strokes thanks to a 3-over-par 147.


The Arnold girls finished 11th in the team competition, falling four spots in the standings with a second round 375 for a total score of 725.


Archbishop McCarthy won the girls team competition with a score of 643.


Ridah September was the top individual golfer for the Marlins, finishing at 170 following a second round 88.


Chaelyn Chong shot 93 to finish at 179 for the tournament, followed by Sydney Polanin (95) at 186, Courtney Langdon (100) at 191, and Ella Dubose (99) at 206.


On the boys side, Mosley finished 15th overall after following Tuesday’s 353 with a score of 356 on Wednesday.


Morgan Hughes was the top individual golfer for the Dolphins with a 79 Wednesday for a total of 162, followed by Jack Hundley (88) at 169, Jack Wong (88) at 183, Charlie Hundley (101) at 195, and Bradley Vickers (108) at 229.
