The Louisiana High School Athletic Associated released its final unofficial high school baseball power ratings for the 2018 season on Tuesday.

The state baseball playoff pairings will be announced in all clases and divisions on Sunday.

The local baseball power ratings are:

CLASS 5A: Central Lafourche (16th), H.L. Bourgeois (30th), Terrebonne (37th) and Thibodaux (41st)

CLASS 4A: South Lafourche (fifth), Assumption (10th), South Terrebonne (22nd) and Ellender (38th)

CLASS 3A: St. James (21st)

DIVISION II: E.D. White Catholic (eighth) and Vandebilt Catholic (10th)

DIVISION IV: Houma Christian School (third) and Covenant Christian Academy (10th)

According to the LHSAA website, the Top 32 teams in Classes 5A, 4A and 3A will make the state playoffs, while the Division II and IV playoffs will feature the Top 16 teams.

For Classes 5A, 4A, 3A and Division II, the first will be a single game with the deadline set for April 24. It will then switch to a best-of-three series for the regional and quarterfinal rounds with the deadlines set for April 27 and May 4-5, respectively.

The Division IV bracket will be single elimination throughout with the deadlines set for April 27 (first round) and May 4-5 (quarterfinal round).

The Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Baseball State Tournament will be held May 9-12 at McMurry Park in Sulphur.

The state tournament will feature single-elimination games in the semifinals and championships for all classes and divisions.
