As to more gun control, it is not needed because the gun laws in effect are moot!
A history lesson: The Constitution was ratified in 1788. Three years later, in 1791, the Second Amendment was ratified. It was needed because at that time, even though the Constitution provided for an army, the only protection provided was the state militias.
The sole purpose of this amendment was to arm the militias, not to arm the population!
I would also like to remind you that the Supreme Court cannot make law. Congress does. Congress is required to check and update the Constitution. Isn’t it about time they do their job?
There are no state militias anymore, therefore the Second Amendment is moot.
