Representatives of all area churches are invited to attend a community-wide meeting Nov. 18 to discuss volunteer opportunities for the free Rural Area Medical clinic coming to Gadsden in March 2020.

The meeting will be held from 5:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Beck Conference Center on the campus of Gadsden State Community College.

A number of opportunities are available, including feeding volunteers, serving refreshments and snacks, and creating goody bags and free sanitary kits for the patients.

Churches of all sizes and denominations are encouraged to get involved, as there will be a job for everyone interested.
