Police are investigating a shooting Wednesday that left one man injured, authorities said.
Officers were called out around 8:30 p.m. to the 200 block of Brooklyn Avenue after a 26-year-old man was shot while sitting in a sedan, Houma Police said. The victim was then treated and released from a local hospital.
Investigators have not identified any suspects or a motive in the shooting, police said. More information will be released as the investigation unfolds
