Our Beautiful New Sign: We would like to thank our Knights of Columbus Council No. 4761 for purchasing our beautiful new sign on the bayou side in front of the church. This new sign will help spread God’s message, church and school news. We are blessed to have such a great K.C. Council.
St. Mary’s Nativity Church: Roland and Diane Griffin received the Traveling Chalice at the 10 a.m. Mass on Sunday. They will keep the chalice for a week and pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood, deaconate and religious life, especially among the young people of the parish and diocese. Anyone wishing to receive the chalice can contact Ronnie Danos at 537-7806.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: We would like to thank and recognize our 27 Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who were trained and commissioned for St. Mary’s Nativity Church and School until Dec. 31, 2024.
Surviving the Holidays: Wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas without your loved one? Grief Share Group is offering a one night session on Nov. 19 in St. Mary’s Nativity Community Center from 5:30-7:30 p.m. In this session you will learn how to deal with the many emotions you’ll face during the holiday and other tips and topics. Registration for this session is now open. There is a $5 fee, which provides for the workbook. Refreshments will be served. If you are someone you know would like to attend, please call Carol in the Church office at 537-3204.
Volunteer Needed: We’re inviting everyone at 10 a.m. Mass to volunteer with our Children’s Liturgy Ministry. Anyone willing to be put on a schedule one weekend a month to help with this ministry, if God is tugging at your heart to serve, please contact the church office. Our little one’s truly love this program and we want to see it continue to be successful.

Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux Outreach Line: In response to the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is offering an Outreach Line (formerly known as the Child Protection Contact Line). The Outreach Line is an effort to continue the diocesan commitment to support healing for people who have been hurt or sexually abused recently or in the past by clergy, religious or other employees of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux. The Diocese of Houma- Thibodaux Outreach Line operates from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A trained mental health professional responds to the line. Individuals are offered additional assistance if requested. The Diocese of Houma- Thibodaux Outreach Line Telephone number is 873- 0026 or 850-3172.
Debt Relief: We will have a Debt Relief Lunch on Nov. 3 in the Community Center. We will be serving a chicken and sausage gumbo dinners for $9. You can dine in or carry out from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in the church office or at the door that day.
