• Authorizing change order No. 2 for Mercedes Force Main Improvements project; total deduct: $36,299.50.

• Authorizing change order No. 2 for City Hall Renovations for the Accounting and Finance Department; total: $86,496.48 and 30 calendar days.

• Setting Oct. 29 as the date for a hearing on the proposed removal of a property from the Caplewood Drive Historic District.

• Ordering the demolition of the structure at 2939 41st Ave.

• Ordering the demolition of the structure at 2803 and 2805 Herman Ave.

• Setting the cost for demolition of the structure at 2675 22nd St. and authorizing the filing of a lien; total: $3,128.68.

• Setting the cost for demolition of the structure at 620 36th Ave. and authorizing the filing of a lien; total: $11,437.38.

• Approving the renaming of Kauloosa Avenue to Reese Phifer Avenue. (Note: this item is not for adoption and requires two other public hearings to be held Oct. 29 and Nov. 12)

• Authorizing a professional services consulting agreement with Volaire Aviation Consulting for the Catchment Leakage Study and Community Air Service Survey; total: $22,500.

• Authorizing a contract for engineering and related services with Cassady Co. Inc. for the Juanita Drive Phase 2 Improvements project; total: not to exceed $311,056.70.

• Authorizing the mayor to execute a contract with Xylem Inc. for the water distribution health check project; total; not to exceed $20,000.

• Tentatively awarding a public works contract to J&P Construction Co. Inc. for the Lift Station 15 Valve Replacement project; total: $141,700.

• Authorizing the mayor to execute amendment No. 3 to task order directive Nos. 1 and 2 with CH2M Hill for engineering and related services for the Mercedes Sewer Force Main Repairs and ARV Investigation and Upgrades; total: $14,196.30 reallocated between the task order directives.

• Authorizing an amendment to the agreement between the city of Tuscaloosa and TTL Inc. for construction, engineering, inspection and construction materials testing for roadway improvements on Hargrove Road from 10th Avenue to Hackberry Lane; total: $90,965.29.

• Approving job class specifications for associate city engineer.

• Authorizing the city clerk to execute various sponsorship agreements with the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama; total: not to exceed $4,500.

• Authorizing the issuance of requests for statements of proposal for professional lobbying services.

• Authorizing creation and implementation of Children’s Toys for Parking Tickets Program — Toys for Tots.

• Authorizing amendment to the 2018 HOME contract with the Tuscaloosa Housing Authority for the development of affordable housing; total addition: $95,801.41.

• Authorizing budget and program changes to the 2019 Action Plan of the City’s 5-Year Consolidated Plan for Community Planning and Development Programs for 2015-2019 and to advertise those changes for citizen comment.

• Authorizing the execution of a memorandum of understanding between the city of Tuscaloosa’s Office of Federal Programs and the City of Tuscaloosa’s Fire and Rescue Service for the City’s 2019 Community Development Block Grant Program.

• Authorizing the Office of Federal Programs to make budget and program changes and to advertise those changes to the 2019 Action Plan of the City’s 5-Year Consolidated Plan for Community Planning and Development Programs for 2015-2019.

• Authorizing budget and program changes to the pre-2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019 Action Plans of the City’s 5 Year Consolidated Plan for Community Planning and Development Programs for 2010-2014 and 2015-2019 and to advertise those changes for citizen comment.

• Authorizing a contract supplement with Governmentjobs.com Inc., DBA NeoGov, to provide professional services for the Learning Management System Solution project; total: not to exceed $37,000.

• Creating district improvement funds and establishing procedures.

• Amending exhibit “A” and “B” of Section 19-42/19-60(a) of the Code of Tuscaloosa.

• Amending various sections of Chapter 7 of the Code of Tuscaloosa.

• Authorizing the payment of bills; total: $98.98.
