Nicholls State University is hosting a panel of women to talk about making impact with their careers in Louisiana.

The university's chapter of the American Association of University Women, or AAUW, organized the panel. Panelists include Lafourche Parish District Attorney, Kristine Russell, nurse and Nicholls MSN coordinator Dr. Melissa Clay, Houma Today journalist Halle Parker and writer, filmmaker and assistant professor of English, Melissa Remark.

The panel will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Ellender Memorial Library Multipurpose Room. It is free and open to the public.
