Annunziata: The St. Vincent de Paul Society is asking for donations of nonperishable food and toiletries for the pantry.

Holy Family baptism policy: The baptism seminar is held following the 6 p.m. Novena on second Monday of the month. Parents and godparents must attend. Baptisms are held on the third Sunday of the month following the 10 a.m. Mass.

Blessing the Graves: Blessing the graves will be Sunday, Nov. 3, after the 10 a.m. Mass for Cemetery No. 1; Cemetery No. 2 Dulac at 11:45 a.m.; and Prevost Cemetery at 12:15 p.m.

Flowers for All Souls and Saints Day: We are now accepting donations for flowers on the altar for All Souls and Saints Day and the Blessing of Graves.

CCD: Sept. 23 -- First to eighth grade will take place each Monday of the week; First to third grade starting at 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.; fourth to eighth grade starting at 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Please enroll your child at the office or speak with Rita on the Sept. 23. Beginning Oct. 6, ninth to 11th grade will take place each first Sunday of the month, ninth to 10th grade starting at 9 a.m. (before Mass) and ending at 12 p.m. (after Mass), 11th grade starting at 9 a.m. (before Mass) and ending at 12 p.m. (after Mass). Please enroll you child, please fill in a form found on the table in the vestibule and leave it in the collection basket, or come and speak with me our team on the 6th. Note: We make a special open invitation to our 12th-graders to join here us for these ninth to 11th grade youth formation gatherings. All registration is $40.

Steak Dinner, Silent Auctions: Steak dinner, silent auctions and door prizes, get your ticket. Meal will consist of steak, potatoes, green beans, salad and bread. Reserve your place! Defending Life by Changing the Culture: Defending Life by Changing the Culture will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the North Terrebonne Library in Gray (large meeting room). Adults and teens are invited to learn how to promote a pro-life culture in an effective and non-confrontational way. Houma Life Chain Sign-Up: The annual Houma Life Chain will be held on Respect Life from 2-3 p.m. on Oct. 6, (rain or shine). Those participating will line the median of Tunnel Boulevard in Houma and stand prayerfully, silently holding Life Chain signs. Join with other pre-life Christians to make a statement to our community that "Abortion kills children."
