PANAMA CITY BEACH - Arrests have been made in connection with a fatal shooting last week at the Wendy’s on Thomas Drive, the Panama City Beach Police Department announced Thursday.
Kyle Anthony Crow, 17, is charged with an open count of murder and Tristen Mixon, 15, is charged with accessory to murder.
Larry Thomas Hill III of Panama City Beach, also known as Tre, died after being shot Sept. 2 at restaurant located at 8720 Thomas Drive.
“Investigators were able to identify Crow and Mixon as persons of interest in this case,” a news release stated. “Investigators from the Panama City Beach Police Department traveled to Dothan, Alabama where Crow and Mixon were located and interviewed.”
Both Crow and Mixon were taken into custody by the Dothan Police Department and turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Dothan to await extradition back to Bay County, according to police.
“Further investigation in Dothan, Alabama revealed that Kyle Crow's mother, Karen Crow, 49, ... attempted to hinder the murder investigation and was charged by the Dothan Police Department,” the release stated.
