The public is invited to an open house Thursday at the Tuscaloosa Career and Technology Academy.

Attendees can meet teachers and industrial partners, take part in a technical dual enrollment workshop and learn more about scholarship opportunities.

The open house will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at TCTA, 2800 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

TCTA is a $23 million facility that provides college- and career-readiness programs with a focus on the development of workplace skills for local high school students.

The academy offers 17 industry-certified pathways and 22 instructors with extensive industry experience.
