The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office will host two free hunter education field days this month.
The first field day will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 25 at the shooting range, 3451 La. 182, Raceland. The second filed day will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 28 at the shooting range.
Participants must be 10 or older and have completed the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries’ home study course, which is available at hunter-ed.com/louisiana.
You must present your course completion certificate at the field day. There will be a written test.
Guns and ammunition are not allowed at the field day.
