Eucharistic Procession: The procession is planned for Saturday, Oct. 5 from Golden Meadow to Thibodaux up Bayou Lafourche. This procession is intended to remember and honor all the faith-filled generations that have come before us to this area and to bless the land and area in a special way. Come and See: The Dominican Laity Heart of Jesus Chapter of Lockport, Louisiana will be hosting its once-a-year "Come and See" this September. The Dominican Laity is a religious vocation open to Catholic men and women, both married and single, who are living their lives according to the rules of the Catholic Church. We follow the teachings of St. Dominic that revolve around the Four Pillars: Community, Study, Prayer and Preaching. Laity on second Wednesday of each month. Mark your calendars for Sept. 11 at 6:40 p.m. and join us for the Rosary and prayers in the chapel, followed by a video in the Heart of Jesus Monastery Cenacle Room located at 155 Church St., Lockport.

Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Celebration: The Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is inviting all couples married in the Catholic church who are celebrating their 25th, 40th, 50th, 60th (and beyond) anniversary during 2019 to join us in this celebration. Prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Cathedral of St. Francis de Sales immediately followed by a reception in the Life Center. If you wish to participate in this program, contact the parish office at 537-6002 before Wednesday to register. All registered anniversary couples will receive an inscribed diocesan certificate in their own church parish during their scheduled parish celebrations. Parish date is to be determined.

Traveling Chalice: Leon and Merlie Richard received the Traveling Chalice on Sunday; at the 9 a.m. Mass and it will remain in her home for one week as she prays for vocations. 

Ladies KC Auxiliary Cake Sale: The Ladies KC Auxiliary will have a cake sale after all Masses on Sept. 7 and 8. They will also be raffling an American flag afghan. Donations will support vocations. 

Mat Ministry: Mat Ministry will be held on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. in the Youth Building. 

Sympathy: In the charity of your prayer, please remember Theresa Lebouef Detillier, Eula Dufrene, and Earl Lanegrasse, who have entered eternal rest. Please keep their family members in prayer that they find comfort and consolation in their faith. 

Baptism Seminar for St. Hilary and St. Anthony: The baptism seminar is Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the multipurpose building. Parents must attend a seminar before their child can be baptized. You may pick up and return the necessary paperwork for the baptism at the Parish Office. Baptisms are the First and third Sunday after the 11 a.m. Mass at St. Hilary and the First Sunday only after the 9 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony. All paperwork must be completed before a Baptism date can be given. Please call 537-6002 for information. 

Bus Trip: The relics of Padre Pio will be at Notre Dame Seminary on Saturday, Oct. 5. A bus will leave St. Eloi (Father Dean Danos, pastor) and will stop at the Tourist Information Center in Raceland at approximately 9 a.m. for anyone interested in joining them to see the relics and Notre Dame Seminary. The fee for the bus is $10. Call Rose Sampey to reserve a seat on the bus. Lunch will be at Five Happiness Chinese Restaurant. The deadline to register is noon on Thursday, Oct. 3.
