Second Sunday- Holy Family Parishioners Luncheon: Holy Family will be hosting its "Parishioners Come Home" luncheon on Sunday, Sept. 8. We are asking parishioners to participate in our potluck dinner by bringing your favorite dish, appetizer, dessert and drinks.
Notre Dame du Lac Grotto Buy a Brick Program: The Notre Dame du Lac Grotto Buy a Brick Program is an ongoing project that will provide for completion, maintenance and improvement to the grotto. If interested in purchasing a brick in honor of a loved one, you can call the church office at 563-2325.

Holy Family baptism policy: The baptism seminar is held following the 6 p.m. Novena on second Monday of the month. Parents and godparents must attend. Baptisms are held on the third Sunday of the month following the 10 a.m. Mass.
Attention parents: It’s that time of the year again. Registration is now open for our Learning about Jesus program for children in nursery, pre-K and kindergarten. The program is free. Diocesan marriage anniversary: The diocesan marriage anniversary celebration will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Cathedral of St. Francis de Sales. Celebrate a liturgy of the word with couples who have lived the commitment of sacramental marriage for 25, 40, 50 or 60 or more years. Participants in this liturgy of the word will need also to participate in Mass either at the vigil on Saturday afternoon or during the day Sunday. The last day to register is Sept. 6. Grief Support: If you or someone you know is experiencing grief because of the loss of a loved one, we invite you to attend a grief support group entitled: "The Journey of Grief." It is a 14-week session beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 409 Funderburk Ave. in Houma. Facilitators are Deacon Glenn and Marylin Porche from St. Eloi. Utility bill assistance: Are you a Terrebonne Parish resident having trouble paying your utility bill? The Terrebonne Parish Department of Housing and Human Services is offering utility assistance to low-income families. Assistance is available every six months from the last date applied.
