A late-morning wreck in Gadsden on Thursday sent one driver to a local hospital with non-visible injuries. The wreck occurred near the Interstate 759 ramp on Black Creek Parkway near Gadsden City High School. At the scene, one vehicle, a Honda Accord, showed damage to the front while the other, a Honda Civic, was damaged on the passenger side and front.

According to Gadsden Police Sgt. John Hallman, the crash occured just before 10:30 a.m. The condition of the driver transported to the hospital was not known immediately following the wreck, but Hallman said the injuries were not expected to be serious.
