St. Louis Church: A celebration for National Grandparents Day will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday. You are invited to bring your grandparents/parents/children for a fun afternoon of bingo held in the parish hall. There will be fun and games. Light refreshments will be served. Volunteers needed: Attention parents of students in ninth, 10th, 11th and 12th grades, we are in need of more volunteers as adult mentors and to lead small group discussion for the new vision for religious education. AFSP Community Walks: Sponsors are needed for the third annual Bayou Region Out of Darkness Walk for suicide prevention and awareness in Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes. Come out and join us in our fight against suicide. The walk will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Nov. 16 at Peltier Park in Thibodaux.
