Honey bees are in decline but are receiving no help from some county workers. I had professionally made signs (Honey Bees — Please Do Not Spray) and placed them along the right-of-way on County Road 21. Instead of honoring this request, it is evident that more chemical was sprayed along this road, which makes no sense. It must have made them mad that I posted these signs.

Along the state right-of-way, they have been honoring the signs. Thank you, state of Alabama.

Beekeepers need the help of everyone to maintain the presence of the bee in this world. We will be in a bad situation because we will not have enough pollinators left to grow our food.

It would have been easier to not spray along this short stretch of road. I realize that they do not have to honor such a request, but I think that workers should have used some common sense.
