American Christian Academy quarterback Lawson Pratt completed 11 of 14 passes for 321 yards and four TDs, all in the first half, as the Patriots rolled to a 56-0 win against Woodlawn on Friday night.

For his efforts, Pratt has been named The Tuscaloosa News Player of the Week.

Pratt completed his first pass for a 50-yard scores and completed his first five passes for 219 yards. His other touchdowns went for 55, 15 and 34 yards.

Here are some other honorable mention performances from West Alabama players:

• Central’s Javonta Leatherwood ran for 144 yards and three touchdowns in the Falcons’ 53-12 win against Greene County.

• Central quarterback William Batchelor was 11 of 14 passing for 202 yards and three touchdowns in the Falcons’ 53-12 win against Greene County.

• Tuscaloosa County’s Damien Taylor ran 22 times for 191 yards, with 11 attempts going for more than 10 yards, in the Wildcats’ 32-14 loss to Hillcrest.

• Jake Corkren threw for 203 yards on 12-for-23 passing and three touchdowns in Northside’s 40-0 win against Brookwood.

• Hillcrest receiver Andre Siler had three receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots’ 32-14 win against Tuscaloosa County.

• Bryant’s Jy’Tavian Edwards threw just six passes but two of them went for touchdowns (40, 30). He rushed for 45 yards and returned an interception 45 yards in the Stampede’s 20-7 victory over Minor.

• Fayette County’s Jason Robinson rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Tigers over Winfield 21-7.

• Bibb County’s Deshun Murrell rushed for 207 yards and two touchdowns (25, 20) in the Choctaws’ 19-17 win against Pelham.
