The young men said they were standing in front of a residence when a white sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, driven by a woman, pulled up. A man got out of the car and approached them both, acting confrontational before pulling a firearm from behind his back and firing rounds recklessly in their direction. His actions caused them to fear serious physical injury or death. After firing shots, the suspect fled through a wooded area behind a residence across the street, and the woman drove away. Officers found a small hole in a vehicle belonging to the young men’s father, and found a shell casing across the street from the residence.
