A 26-year-old man reported prescriptions and prescription medication stolen and $475 taken from his bank account between Oct. 5 and Oct. 6, in relation to his stay at a group home on Mountainbrook Drive. He had been treated in a local hospital for diabetes and post traumatic stress disorder, and was released to the group home because he had no where to go. He contacted a relative saying he was not receiving medication. Since the relative picked him up, they have not been able to get all his medication or prescriptions back, and the victim said the money was taken from his bank account.

A 2003 Toyota Corolla was reported stolen between 8 a.m. Sept. 18 and noon Oct. 3 from the 1200 block of Grant Avenue.

A woman told police a man and woman who had rented a room in her McDuffie Street residence kicked the door in at about 2:50 a.m. Friday and took a cell phone and a $100 bill and fled on foot.

Someone flipped over furniture and did damage to walls inside a South 10th Street residence between 1 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Thursday, and stole a PlayStation 4 game system and a Bluetooth speaker.

A tablet device was reported stolen between Oct. 1 and Monday from a Jacksonville Court residence after someone broke in and ransacked the home.
