GULF BREEZE — A man suffered minor injuries and three cars were damaged in a wreck that took place east of Gulf Breeze on U.S. Highway 98 on Friday afternoon.

In a Saturday press release, the Florida Highway Patrol said a 2007 Nissan Altima driven by 34-year-old Richard Mihailovic of Navarre was headed east when it turned into the path of a 2018 Dodge Charger driven by 62-year-old Fred Clark of Milton.

Clark tried to swerve around the Altima but failed. The collision caused his Charger to flip, and when it came to rest it struck a parked 2003 Mercury Sable. The Sable’s owner was not identified in the report.

Clark was taken to Gulf Breeze Medical Center and treated for minor injuries.

Mihailovic told a trooper he could not see Clark’s car due to other cars obscuring his vision.

Alcohol was not a factor. Damages were not listed on the report.
