Diocesan men’s Mass: On Sept. 20, St. Hilary will host the Diocesan men’s Mass at 6 a.m. Men are welcome to bring their teenage sons or grandson. Coffee will be available after Mass.

Baptism seminar for St. Hilary and St. Anthony: St. Hilary’s seminar is 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the multipurpose building. Parents must attend a seminar before your child can be baptized. You may pick up and return the necessary paperwork for the baptism at the parish office. Baptisms are held on the first and third Sundays of each month after the 11 a.m. Mass at St. Hilary and the first Sunday of each month after the 9 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony. Blue Mass: At 11 a.m. Sept. 27 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux, Bishop Shelton Fabre will preside at the annual blue Mass, where we pray for police, firefighters, emergency responders and military personnel. All of the faithful and families of agency members are invited to take part in this celebration.

2018 wedding anniversary celebration: The Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is inviting all couples married in the Catholic Church who are celebrating their 25th, 40th, 50th, 60th (and beyond) wedding anniversaries during 2018 to a diocesan prayer service at 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. A reception will follow in the Life Center. The parish date will be determined.

Holy Savior Catholic Church: The faculty and staff members of Holy Savior Catholic School would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every individual who had a part in making our annual steak dinner such a big success. We raised $16,462.99 because of the generosity of so many people.

Lockport special reunion: 2018 is a special and unique year for the family of the late Alton and Gertrude Baudoin Sampey of Raceland. The family is celebrating decade birthdays ages 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80. From 1-4 p.m. Saturday, the family will come together at the St. Hilary Multi-Purpose Building for a day of thanksgiving with food, fun and a family blessing by Rev. P.J. Madden.
