NICEVILLE — A 30-year-old man was charged with driving without insurance, having a firearm while convicted of a felony, drug possession and drug equipment possession after a traffic stop for speeding.

An Okaloosa County sheriff’s deputy pulled a car over for speeding on College Boulevard. The man driving had a box containing 20.43 grams of marijuana, seven Excedrin pills, a five-pack of cigarillos and a package of rolling papers.

There was also a bag containing a bottle of hemp-infused oil, a pink gas mask with marijuana residue and an orange smoking device with marijuana residue.

The man also had a handgun in his possession, and admitted that his vehicle was not insured.
