CRESTVIEW — A 30-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession without a prescription and possession of paraphernalia after running two stop signs.
During a traffic stop for failing to stop at two consecutive stop signs, a Crestview police officer could smell marijuana coming from the man’s vehicle. Both the driver and the passenger were detained and the vehicle was searched.
The driver said he took full responsibility for anything in the vehicle. The officers found 7 grams of cocaine in the center console, along with 13.1 grams of marijuana and 10.8 grams of MDMA.
On the floorboard, officers found 2.2 grams of marijuana and a backpack containing 147 grams of marijuana, several containers of THC oil, a digital scale and plastic baggies.
On the driver was $862 in cash and 1.2 grams of Diazapam pills.
