LAS VEGAS — The West Alabama Women's Golf team tops the leaderboard after Day 1 of the Winona State Invitational at the Stallion Mountain Golf Club in Las Vegas on Monday.

UWA (308) as a team shot 20-over on the Par 72 course that spans 5,929 yards and is 11 shots ahead of second place Montana State-Billings (319).

Ye Eun Jin (70) leads all individuals shooting two-under during the first round of the two-day tournament. Just four shots behind sits UWA's Alicia Fajardo with a two-over, 74 opening round.

Megan Ward (80) is tied for ninth at eight-over, Hannah McCracken (84) sits at tied for 22nd at 12-over and Kaitlyn Rose (88) score of 16-over has her tied for 32nd.

The tournament host by Winona State University concludes Tuesday.
