FORT WALTON BEACH — A Fort Walton Beach man was arrested on Feb. 12 for possessing 90 images and videos of child pornography, lawmen say.
According to an arrest report from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, 23-year-old Dylan James Moulton was reported by Dropbox, Inc., a file-hosting service, for having images and videos of child exploitation. On Nov. 3, a subpoena was issued by the State Attorney's Office of the First Judicial Circuit to Cox Communication and Verizon to release account holder information.
On Dec. 5, a search warrant was executed at a home on Holton Avenue. Deputies interviewed Dylan Moulton, who waived his rights and agreed to answer questions without a lawyer present. Dylan confirmed his phone number, email address and Dropbox account. He also admitted that his Dropbox account had been shut down.
He admitted that he had been trading child pornography on his Kik account under the username "Bolshevik930." He admitted to trading Dropbox links with other individuals on the Kik site.
Dylan traded Dropbox links with child sexual exploitation with five different individuals. Examples of the videos range from between 5 seconds and 1 minute and include sexual acts with prepubescent females between 2 and 6 years old.
Dylan was charged with 30 counts possession of obscene material-possession of sexual performance by a child and five counts obscene communication-electronic transfer of child pornography. Both are third-degree felonies.
