Lenten meals fundraiser: The Fundraising Committee will be selling the Lenten meals starting at 6 p.m. on Fridays during Lent at the front porch of the rectory. The meals include white beans and rice, fried catfish, coleslaw and bread. The donation for the meal is $8. Desserts are also available for purchase. Please come out and support our parish.

Steubenville on the Bayou: Registration has begun for Steubenville on the Bayou. This exciting youth event will take place June 15-17 at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center. Call the office for more information.

Youth Ministry: Donations are now being accepted for vacation Bible school craft supplies. If you can donate any of the following, please bring them to the church office: coffee filters, toilet paper and paper towel cardboard rolls, gift wrapping tissue paper (any color), ribbons (any color or size), green and red paper plates, pipe cleaners, paper bags and poster boards. St. Hilary of Poitiers Church: Regina and Tee Verdin received the Traveling Chalice Sunday at the 11 a.m. Mass. It will remain in their home for one week as they pray for vocations.

Sympathy: In the charity of your prayer, please remember Maxine Boudreaux, who entered eternal rest. Please keep her family members in prayer that they find comfort and consolation in their faith.

Pastoral Council meeting: St. Hilary’s Pastoral Council meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. today in the multipurpose building. We ask that all members attend.

Youth Way of the Cross: If you are 17 years old or younger and would like to have a part of our Youth Way of the Cross this year, please join us at 5 p.m. Feb. 18 in church.

CCD:During February and March, we will hold registration for CCD students for next school year. Forms will be sent out. If you are registering a child for the first time, contact Diane at 537-6002 to set up an appointment. The deadline is March 30. A $10 late fee will be added to any registration turned in after that date. If you have a student leaving Catholic school in grades first through 10th and entering public school, that child is required by the church attend CCD classes in his or her church parish. If you have any questions, please call Diane at the parish office.

Diocese Men’s Mass: Men are welcome to bring their teenage sons or grandsons. This year, the Mass will be conducted at three or four parishes, with St. Hilary hosting every third Thursday of the month. Hopefully, this rotation will allow the blessing of this Mass to flow to even more men from our area. Coffee will be available afterward. Please pass this on to men who may not hear about it otherwise.
