Two men were cited by state officials for illegally selling red snapper and for possession of drugs Sunday at a seafood dock in Dulac.

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents found Arthur Freeman, 53, of Lockport, and Ross Adam, 33, of Grand Isle, with eight red snappers totaling 69 pounds, according to a statement by the agency.  The two were trying to sell the fish at $3 a pound.

Agents found Freeman in possession of marijuana and Adam in possession of meth, paraphernalia, and a rifle and pistol while in possession of an illegal controlled substance. Adam was booked into the Terrebonne Parish Jail.
