Mid-Bay Rotary's 25th Annual Oktoberfest is a free admission, family-oriented event featuring German traditions of bratwurst, sauerkraut, beer, wine, a German Band, clowns, children’s rides and craft vendors. All funds raised are used in support of charity and scholarships.

Grayton Beer Co. will host its inaugural Oktoberfest. The outdoor festival, benefiting Food for Thought Outreach, is the brewery’s nod to the famous 16-day celebration of food and beer indulgence held annually in Munich, Germany. Guests 21 and older are invited to enjoy unlimited pours from Grayton Beer Co. along with other regional breweries including 3rd Planet Brewing, DEEP Brewing Co. - Tallahassee, Fairhope Brewing Co., Idyll Hounds Brewing Co., Oyster City Brewing Co., Perfect Plain Brewing Co., Proof Brewing Co. and SweetWater Brewing Co.
Along with live music and beer samples, guests can enjoy traditional German-fare. Food for Thought Outreach volunteers will be onsite selling pretzels and accompaniments.
Only 50 VIP tickets will be sold, which includes the opportunity to speak to the brewers, an extra hour of admission, a commemorative 0.5L German Stein plus one free meal from the German-fare food tent. Gates open to VIP guests at noon. General admission tickets include a commemorative 5.75-oz sampling glass. Gates open at 1 p.m. for general admission. No children or strollers are allowed.

Celebrate five years of beers with Idyll Hounds Brewing Co. This year, Idyll Hounds will change things up with a different ticket system, more limited release to go beer and more guest breweries. There will be live music and food trucks throughout the day. General admission is $65 and includes a shirt, glass, sticker and unlimited sample pours. VIP2 tickets are $109 and include a shirt, glass, sticker, unlimited sample pours, catered brunch, an hour early entry and two limited barrel aged bombers. VIP4 Tickets are $145 and include a shirt, glass, sticker, unlimited sample pours, catered brunch, an hour early entry and four limited barrel aged bombers.
Oktoberfest Beer Tasting

The seventh annual Oktoberfest Beer Tasting will feature a selection of beers from around the world. The $25 tasting fee includes a souvenir glass while supplies last. Marine life and interactive exhibits will benefit the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station.

The inaugural Alys Beach Firkin Fête will take place with participating breweries showcasing their special brews in a distinctive cask, called a firkin, which holds 10.8 gallons of beer. Unique in the sense that the beer goes through a secondary fermentation in the firkin, the end result is a surprise to all. Mix and mingle with participating breweries at the taproom with live music and food.

Fire up the grills, tap the kegs and crank up the tunes for HarborWalk Village’s 12th annual Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival. This barbecue block party will fill the docks with the aroma of smoky ribs and pulled pork. More than 15 of the area’s finest restaurants will compete in a spirited and fun barbecue competition, offering samples of creative barbecue styles and specialty. Prizes will be awarded to the top winners in each category. Award Categories are Judges Choice for Best Traditional BBQ, Most Creative BBQ and Best Specialty Sauce, as well as first, second and third in People’s Choice and Best Booth. John Hart & Tyler Mac will perform on the main stage. Bring the family for a day of food, fun and music.
